At 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021, Hanoi University of Pedagogy will organize an online consultation session for teachers with the topic “Organizing experiential activities in teaching natural sciences”.
The goal of general education is to develop students’ qualities and abilities. In addition to classroom teaching activities in subjects, students’ experiential activities play an extremely important role in forming students’ core qualities and capabilities. Experiential activities also help students’ learning be linked to reality, enhance students’ interest in learning, and are emphasized in the implementation of the 2018 general education program.
Experiential activities can be implemented in a variety of forms and levels, in the form of general educational activities of the school or organized according to subjects. However, in reality, many high schools and teachers are still confused in choosing, designing and organizing experiential activities to suit students as well as specific conditions.
At the online consultation session, experts from Hanoi University of Pedagogy will share with teachers their knowledge and experience in organizing experiential activities in teaching natural sciences. The shares revolve around the following main contents:
– Concepts and forms of STEM experiential activities
– How to build science and STEM clubs in high schools
– Build and organize STEM festivals
– Prepare and organize sightseeing activities
– Design and implement experiential activities at home for application activities in lessons
Hanoi University of Pedagogy receives shared opinions and questions through surveys at: to prepare appropriate consulting content to best meet the support needs of teachers across the country. About 200 teachers who participated in asking the earliest and best questions through the above online survey will be invited by the Organizing Committee to join the Zoom room to discuss directly with the guests in the program.
